squish.to has a new look. Gone is the dark background - in its place, a warm, light page with a coral pink we're using everywhere and a teal accent for the details. It's a small thing, but it changes how the whole site feels: less like a utility you tolerate, more like a tool you actually enjoy opening.

That's the point. A link shortener is something people come back to constantly - a quick stop in the middle of a hundred other things. There's no reason it has to look flat and functional. We'd rather it felt a bit more positive every time you use it.

Why now

We're marking the refresh alongside file uploads becoming a real, permanent part of squish.to. You can already upload an image, a PDF, or a self-contained HTML page and get a short link for it, the same way you'd shorten any URL - no account, no setup. We wrote the full how-to in hosting AI-generated HTML and tracking views.

Uploading a file is a more personal thing than shortening a link you found somewhere - it's something you made. We wanted the site to match that: bright and a little funky, not beige and corporate. New colors felt like the right way to say that.

Try it

Paste a link or upload a file and see the new look for yourself. Still free, still no account - just a bit more color on the way in.
