Host AI-Generated HTML and Track Views: A Simple Way to Send Sales One-Pagers
You can host AI-generated HTML on squish.to by uploading the file at squish.to/upload. You get a short link that opens the page in any browser, and a stats page that shows how many times it was opened, when, from where, and from which source. It needs no account and no web hosting. That makes it a quick way for a sales team to send a prospect a one-pager and find out whether it was opened.
Here is how it works, what to expect from the stats, and a few tips for getting good results.
Why an HTML page beats an attachment
AI tools are very good at producing a tidy, branded one-pager in HTML: a pitch for a specific prospect, a pricing summary, a short case study, a meeting recap. The awkward part is sending it. Pasting the code into an email shows raw markup, and attaching a file means the prospect has to download and open it.
A link fixes that. The prospect taps it, the page loads like a normal website, and it looks the same on a phone and a laptop. A link also gives you something an attachment never does: a count of opens.
How to host your AI-generated HTML on squish.to
- Save the HTML as a file. Copy the code from your AI tool into a plain text editor and save it with a
.htmlending, for exampleacme-one-pager.html. Many AI tools also have a download or export button for this. - Open squish.to/upload. Pick your file and, if you like, choose a custom name for the link, such as
acme-intro. Custom names use letters, numbers and hyphens, from 3 to 30 characters. - Upload and copy the link. You get a short link like
squish.to/acme-intro, copied to your clipboard, plus a QR code. - Send it. Put it in an email, a LinkedIn message, a calendar invite or a text.
The file limit is 10MB, and HTML files stay live for 30 days. That suits the usual life of a sales one-pager: you send it, the deal moves, and you replace it.
How to track who viewed your one-pager
Every open of a squish.to link is counted. Click View stats after you upload, or visit squish.to/stats and enter your link name. You will see:
- Total opens for the page
- Opens in the last 7 days and your busiest day
- A 14-day chart of daily opens
- The most recent opens, each with the time, the country, and the source (for example LinkedIn, WhatsApp, a newsletter, or Direct)
So you can tell, for instance, that your prospect opened the page twice on Tuesday morning from the UK, and that a forward landed on a third open from LinkedIn on Wednesday. That is a useful nudge for deciding when to follow up.
Make one link per prospect
A view count tells you the page was opened. It does not tell you who opened it. The simple fix is one upload per prospect, each with its own name: acme-intro, globex-intro, and so on. Then the stats for each link belong to one conversation. It takes a few seconds per upload and gives you much cleaner signals than a single shared link.
Read the numbers sensibly
Treat opens as a good hint, not a verdict. Some email security tools and chat apps load a link automatically to scan or preview it, which can add an open that no human made. If you see an open within a second or two of sending, that may be a preview. A second open hours later is much more likely to be a person.

What to know before you build the page
A few details help your page look right the first time:
- Scripts do not run. squish.to serves uploaded HTML as a static page, so JavaScript is switched off. Tell your AI tool to produce plain HTML and CSS with inline styles, with no scripts, and it will look exactly the way you designed it.
- Use hosted images or inline them. If your page includes a logo or product shot, link to an image that is already online, or embed it in the file, and keep the whole file under 10MB.
- Plan for the 30 days. If a deal runs long, upload again and send the new link.
- Add a clear call to action. A one-pager works best with one next step, such as "Book a call" with a link to your calendar.
A handy prompt for your AI tool: "Create a single self-contained HTML file with inline CSS and no JavaScript. It should be a one-page summary for [prospect] covering [problem], [our solution], and [next step]. Keep it mobile friendly."
A QR code for in-person follow-ups
Met someone at an event? Every uploaded file also comes with a QR code, so you can show it on a phone or a slide and let them scan it straight to your one-pager. We wrote more about that in every squish.to link now comes with a QR code.
Try it
Upload your first AI-generated page at squish.to/upload. It takes less than a minute, and you will see the first open as soon as someone taps the link.
